- Supervises the Acct. Clerk I, Acct. Clerk II, and POS Auditor.
- Support CFO and Staff Accountant with month-end close process.
- Makes journal entries of other than routine income or expense activity.
- Backup for bi-weekly payroll process.
- Backup for weekly accounts payable check process.
- Monthly reconciliation of bank accounts.
- Monitors receivables to ensure timely collections
- Weekly review of checks for accuracy and proper general ledger account coding.
- Review of Store and Business Office internal controls to ensure accurate financial results and reporting.
Think you've got what it takes?
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Five years of accounting experience or equivalent
- Two years supervisory experience of multiple staff
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Excel
- Valid driver's license
- Daily use of good judgement and integrity
- Consistently demonstrates initiative
- Ability to make sound financial decisions
