We are hosting a live Hiring Fair to fill employment opportunities at our new Clio store, as well as our Birch Run and Burton locations.  Cashier, Donation Attendant, and Clothing and Housewares positions are available.   • Direct conversations with Goodwill Mid-Michigan representatives and hiring managers.
  • Information on full-time and part-time positions available at our Clio, Birch Run, and Burton stores.
  • The chance to learn about company benefits, flexible schedules, and growth paths. 
  • Starting hourly wage: $15.00

Essential duties and responsibilities:

To achieve expectations for tasks assigned
 

  • Clothing and Housewares positions:
    • Handle new and donated soft and hardline merchandise. 
    • Price and display merchandise 
    • Achieve production standard of 85-100 pieces per hour
  • Cashier positions:   Operate cash register and conduct sales-related functions
  • Donation Attendant: Assist with donations in a friendly, professional and safe manner

Think you've got what it takes? 

  • Ability and willingness to work flexible shifts as assigned.
  • Can you lift and carry 35 pounds with or without help?
  • Can you reach, bend or stoop and utilize safe lifting techniques?
  • Ability to stand six to eight hours a day
  • Ability to distinguish colors.
  • Organized and fast paced
